Ingredients
1 (19.5 oz) box chocolate fudge brownie mix
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
7 oz sweetened condensed milk (1/2 can)
2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 Tbs peppermint extract
red food coloring
4 oz chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. In medium bowl, beat brownie mix, butter, cream cheese and egg together. Scoop dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Smooth edges of each to form a round cookie. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are set. 
  2. Allow cookies to cool for about 2 to 3 minutes. In separate bowl, mix together condensed milk, powdered sugar, peppermint extract and a few drops of red food coloring while cookies are cooling. Spoon the peppermint topping onto each cookie. The peppermint mixture will soften slightly. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
  3. Melt chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir chocolate. Microwave for 15 more seconds or until chocolate has completely melted. (Be careful not to burn.) Spoon 1/2 tablespoon melted chocolate on top of each cookie. Let the chocolate set before serving cookies.
