Ingredients
1 lb lean ground turkey
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbs tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1 (8 oz) can low-sodium tomato sauce
1 Tbs Dijon mustard
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
6 hamburger buns, toasted
Directions
  1. In large skillet over medium heat, cook meat, onions, bell peppers and garlic until meat is browned. Add tomato paste and water; stir to combine. Add tomato sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, paprika and salt. Stir to combine; bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it reaches desired consistency. Serve on toasted buns.
