Ingredients
1 (10 oz) bag fresh cranberries (approx. 3 cups)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup sugar
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Over medium heat, stir until sugar melts (about 3 minutes). Let the mixture simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until cranberries soften and juices release (about 20 minutes). Turn off the heat, and let the cranberries cool. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
