Ingredients
1 jar maraschino cherries (need 18 to 24 cherries)
16 oz cherry cola
2 oz rum
ice-pop molds and treat sticks
Directions
  1. Separate the cherries from the cherry juice. Keep the juice and cherries. Cut the cherries in half. Place 3 to 6 cherry halves in each ice-pop mold. Pour the cherry juice over the cherries in each mold to fill 1/3 of each mold. Cover, and let freeze for at least 4 hours.
  2. When cherry juice is frozen, move on to the next step. Pour the cola over the cherries and juice in each mold, leaving 1/4 inch of headspace in each mold.
  3. Cover. Place a treat stick down into each ice pop, pushing firmly and into the frozen cherry portion. Let freeze overnight.
  4. When ready to serve, gently remove the ice pops. If needed, dip the molds into lukewarm water for a few seconds to loosen the ice pops. (Do not immerse in water.
